Motus Emergency Lighting

The challenge was to create a functional product with a strong visual identity without compromising its important safety features. The emergency lighting contains rechargeable batteries which maintain crucial exit information to make sure the lighting is fully functional during an emergency exit even if a building’s power alternative light fittings fail. It was awarded the IF Design award & Compasso d’Oro, 2003.
